Add creditsWhat uses credits?
Every successful task costs at least 0.1 credit. Batch totals round up once to 0.1 credit; use the calculator for the total.
| Task | Output unit | Single-result task |
|---|---|---|
| Episode table | 1 completed task | 0.1 credits |
| Current title metadata | 1 successful title | 0.7 credits |
| Candidate discovery | 1 returned candidate | 1 credits |
| Episode availability check · NetShort | 1 availability report | 1.3 credits |
| Episode download · NetShort | 1 delivered episode | 1.1 credits |
Download rates above and in the calculator are for NetShort. ReelShort and DramaBox have separate prices shown before checking and downloading; the download quote includes any required source retrieval. Status reads and repeat file downloads do not add a charge.

A few practical details
How is a task charged?
Review the maximum cost before starting. Those credits are held while the task runs. You pay at least 0.1 credit for a successful task. The price is rounded up once to 0.1 credit; unused credits are returned. A failed or cancelled task with no delivered output has no charge.
A 20-title export holds 13.9 credits. If 16 titles succeed, it costs 11.1 and returns 2.8. Separate tasks round their own totals.
Is a credit the same as an API request?
No. A task’s price uses its delivered results and rounds the combined total up once to 0.1 credit. A task can involve several requests; status checks and repeat downloads do not add another output charge.
What if there aren’t enough credits?
A task that needs credits cannot start until the available balance covers its maximum reservation. Existing results remain accessible.
How do top-up bonuses work?
The $20 pack includes 200 bonus credits; the $50 pack includes 1,000. Payment confirmation adds the full pack to your balance once. Bonuses apply per purchase, not to cumulative spending. Task credit prices stay the same. A refund reverses the same proportion of the full credited pack, including its bonus.
What happens after checkout?
Returning from checkout does not confirm a payment. Your balance changes only after a verified payment notification is recorded. The billing page shows the recorded credit activity.
Are these the final prices and purchase terms?
No. These are draft launch prices. Final rates, credit validity and purchase refund terms will be published before launch.
